Things to do in Fairfield: Mother’s Day Edition
There is always plenty of things to do in Fairfield! Here are Rick’s Picks for this month.
Lighthouse Cruise, Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk (5/11)
A rare close-up look at six historic lighthouses on Long Island Sound. A 5.5 hour cruise. During the cruise, Aquarium educators will share histories and anecdotes about the lighthouses, and also point out the Sound’s waterfowl.
Mother’s Day at CT Beardsley Zoo (5/12)
Connecticut’s only zoo wants to thank all mothers and grandmothers. Bring your mom or grandmother to the Zoo on Mother’s Day and her ticket is free. Enjoy this special day by visiting animals and then having lunch together in the Peacock Pavilion.
Mamas & Mimosas (5/11)
A celebration for all women and with Mother’s Day being the next day, this is a perfect treat for you and your mom. This is a shopping event, highlighting 15 CT handmade artisans, and guests will also enjoy mimosas & coffee, live music, and entry to one workshop.
No Mother’s Day is complete without brunch! Here are a couple of our favorite watering holes and waffle flippers.
